Back to Index Spanish Agency N° 58–2026: Media invitation: ESA's ESAC Open Day 2026 featuring ESA reserve astronaut Sara García Alonso 24 September 2026 The European Space Agency (ESA) invites media representatives to attend the ESA's ESAC Open Day 2026, which will take place on Saturday 3 October at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) in Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid). During this open day, the public will have the opportunity to discover how science and space exploration contribute to expanding our knowledge of the Universe and improve our lives on Earth. Through talks, workshops and meetings with specialists from ESA, the AEE, the CAB and various companies in the sector, visitors will be able to learn about some of the Agency’s most significant missions, as well as the opportunities the space sector offers to the younger generation.
